Elle's First Fathers Day

Elle spent her first Fathers Day at home barbecuing with the family. She was great all day, even with all the excitement and the car show. At the end of the day though, I think she had finally had enough. I feel the need to explain Elle's outfit since you cannot see it well in this picture, and it is pretty awesome. Matt got to pick out what Elle wore, so she wore a Batman onesie and a yellow skirt. That girl looks good in blue. Daddy was so proud to have his first fathers day ever, even though he acted like it was no big deal, we know the truth. 

As a side note, Elle started to pull herself up yesterday. She is getting more and more mobile every day. It is a scary thing to watch. Tomorrow she has her first play date, it is at starbucks, go figure. Hopefully Elle plays nice and makes a new friend. 

9 Months!

Elle had her nine month check up last week. I cannot believe it has already been nine months. I know that I am going to say that with every month that passes, but it is still hard to grasp. I am already planning her 1st birthday (it is going to be awesome). I cannot wait till she can tell me what she wants, but this year, it will be cute, and pink. Maybe next year she will want giraffes and polka dots, who knows.  The point is that she has almost spent one whole year in this big, wide world. Elle is perfect (of course), a little petit, 17.5 pounds and 27 inches.  We shall see if she breaks the 5'2 barrier.

I am planning to start posting about the adventures of Elle and all the silly little things she does along the way. As well as anything else that comes along. Oh, and pictures, lots of pictures. Enjoy!
